Wildflower meadow
My wildflower meadow has been established for around 5 years now and is beginning to look good. It gets cut just once a year around mid September and all the cut material removed.

St Peters Church - Dyrham
A few photos of St Peters Church, Dyrham park. The church has its origins in the 13th century, with the tower added in the 15th century.
It seems to be open daily with easy access from the formal gardens at Dyrham Park.

RAF Lyneham Gate Guardian
De Havilland Comet C2 XK699 "Sagittarius" was unveiled as RAF Lyenham's gate guardian by HRH The Princess Royal on the 22nd June 1987.
These photos of XK699 were taken about 4 weeks before the unveiling.
With the closure of Lyneham in 2012 the airframe was scrapped - possibly the nose section was saved and moved to Boscombe Down.

Poole Pottery - Peacock Vase
I recently started collecting Poole Pottery (just in a small way) - this is one of my first acquisitions. The vase is a peacock design in the “Living Glaze” range, designed by Anita Harris and painted by Lorna Whitmarsh in the early 2000’s - the blue interior indicates this is a fairly early product, those produced later have a black interior.
